What is the Water Professionals Conference (WPC)?
The Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky & Tennessee (CWP-KT) and the Kentucky/Tennessee Section of the American Water Works Association (KY/TN Section AWWA) will hold our 17th Annual Water Professionals Conference August 15-18, 2021 (postponed from July 2020) at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, TN. This conference provides networking opportunities, engaging technical programming, and innovative equipment exhibitions for attendees and exhibitors in the water sector. This event is also a celebration of the work we all do that benefits so many, and WPC21 will be no exception. WPC19 attracted approximately 1,700 of your peers from hundreds of different companies, utilities, and organizations, including 255 exhibit booths. Having a common venue in which to learn, share, and understand enables more collaborative solutions to water sector challenges. We look forward to seeing you in Chattanooga!

What are the new dates for WPC21 (postponed from July 2020)?
The WPC20 event will become WPC21 to be held August 15-18, 2021. The event will be held at our original event location, the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, TN.

Is my WPC20 registration valid on the new WPC21 dates?
Yes. If you registered for WPC20, your registration has been transferred to WPC21 automatically.

Do I need to change my WPC20 registration?
No. If you registered for WPC20, your current event registration your registration has been transferred to the rescheduled event: WPC21 to be held August 15-18, 2021, in Chattanooga, TN.

What is the attendee registration refund policy if I cannot attend the new WPC21 dates?
We are offering an extended refund policy. You have the flexibility to cancel your registration (regardless of registration date) until June 18, 2021. Cancellations received June 19, 2021 through July 29, 2021 will be refunded 25%. No refunds are provided for cancellations received after July 29, 2021. No refunds on Sponsorships, WPLA Participants, Golf, or Award Guests.

I have already booked my hotel and flights for the event in July, will I be reimbursed?
CWP-KT and KY/TN Section AWWA are not responsible for reimbursing you for your hotel and flights.

We recommend reaching out to your airline directly to cancel your reservation and request a refund.

If you booked a room at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown, The Westin Chattanooga, The Read House Hotel, or The Chattanoogan Hotel through the WPC website links, your hotel reservation for July 2020 will be cancelled and processed by the hotel by June 30, 2020.

If you booked a room at The Read House Hotel through the WPC website link, you will need to contact The Read House directly to cancel your reservation.

If you do not receive your July 2020 hotel cancellation confirmation by June 30, 2020, please contact the hotel directly to confirm.

What will happen to the technical topics that have already been submitted for WPC20?
The planning team believes it is imperative to move full-steam ahead in re-imagining WPC20 as a series of virtual events beginning in July 2020. We are actively identifying ways to ensure that our presenters are still able to participate and present their technical topics. We will release more information once it is available. WPC20 submitters will be allowed to resubmit for WPC21 in Fall 2020.

Can I book my room for WPC21 now?
Updated conference hotel reservation block information will be available by July 31, 2020.
